Mr. Khabbaz began his career as an investment banking and merchant banking analyst at Morgan Stanley and Gleacher &Co. After graduating from the Harvard Business School, he embarked on a two and half decade long career as a CEO, CIO,and hedge fund portfolio manager.
A biographical profile is provided below.
- Co-founded Highline Capital. The firm managed long/short equity hedge funds, focused on special situations, restructuring and reorganizations, and event-driven investments, as well as a short only fund.
- Co-founded Pierce Street Capital. The firm managed low market exposure, long/short equity hedge funds.
- Co-founded Silver Arrow Investment Management, an investment focused on concentrated equity portfolio strategies.
- Senior portfolio manager at Ivory Capital Management, a long/short equity hedge fund company.
- Graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Economics with Honors.
